OSD Audio ICE610 6.5" 2 Way In Ceiling Speakers, 120W, Pivoting Tweeter, Pair

The OSD Audio ICE610 is a 6.5 inch 2 way in-ceiling speaker pair that gives builders and homeowners a cost effective way to add quality sound to every room. It is a strong fit for whole home audio, multi-room systems, kitchens, living rooms and home theater surrounds.

Each speaker combines a 6.5 inch polypropylene cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a 1/2 inch pivoting PEI dome tweeter. Butyl rubber is tough and moisture resistant and provides excellent damping, with a much longer service life than foam. The pivoting tweeter can be aimed toward your listening area for crisp, focused highs.

With 120 watts of power handling, 88 dB sensitivity and 8 ohm impedance, the ICE610 works with most stereo amplifiers and AV receivers and delivers a wide 50Hz to 22kHz frequency response.

Built-in dog ear clamps grip the drywall as you tighten the screws, so no mounting brackets are needed for retrofit installs. The snap-in grille can be spray painted to match your ceiling. For best results, use CL3 or FT4 rated in-wall speaker wire, 16 gauge up to 100 feet and 14 gauge for longer runs. These are passive speakers and require an amplifier or receiver.

Check the Fit

Needs a 7.95 inch cutout and 3.31 inches of clearance above the ceiling; paintable grille is 9.06 inches across. Replacing speakers? Measure the old hole first. Dog ear clamps, no brackets needed. Sold as pair (2 speakers)
