This compact wireless surround sound kit includes a transmitter/receiver that sends the audio signal using the faster and more reliable 5.8 GHz frequency from your amplifier/receiver to the rear surround 2-channel amplifier where the surround speakers connect using the speaker wire supplied with the kit. The kit also includes an input/output to connect a powered subwoofer so you can enjoy the rumbling bass that makes movies and music even more enjoyable. Start binging your favorite shows or play your digital music library with heart-pounding surround sound without having to tack speaker cable around doors and along floorboards or snake cables through the walls or crawlspaces.

Advantages of Wireless 5.1 Surround Sound

To enjoy true surround sound, your speaker array should include right and left front speakers to handle music and sound effects, a center channel speaker for dialog, and two left and right rear speakers for surround effects. And no home theater is complete without a subwoofer (the .1 in 5.1 surround) to bring in the heart-pounding bass. Connecting the front channel speakers is the easy part because these speakers are typically located near the receiver/amp. Rear speakers, on the other hand, require speaker cable to be run either along the baseboards or snaked through the walls, which is not always practical.  The NERO WRSKII’s transmitter connects to your home theater amp/receiver and plugs into a standard electrical outlet. The kit’s receiver also plugs into a standard electrical outlet and connects to the rear speakers via the included speaker cables. The transmitter then sends the audio signal to the receiver over the air via the 5.8 GHz frequency, which is transmits signals at higher speeds than the 2.4 GHz. Add this to the 34-selectable channels and your sound will be steady, clear and reliable.
