The Nero Tubebass is a dynamically powered subwoofer that renders amazing low-frequency sound effects for home theaters, media rooms, and high-end listening spaces. It's been paired with the Nero-WSA subwoofer transmitter/receiver allowing you to place the sub where you actually want to!
Nero Tubebass Subwoofer
Adding bass to your space, even if your space is small, is easier than you ever thought with our Nero-TubeBass 10 Cylinder subwoofer. This compact and formidable down-firing subwoofer hides discreetly in corners and is barely noticeable until you crank up the volume and experience the low-frequency sound in your living room, home theater or gaming area that has sorely been missing. Tube subwoofers have been around in car stereo sound systems for decades for a reason—awesome bass is possible even when space is at a premium. We decided to take this tried and true concept to the home with the Nero TubeBass 10 that gives you a big box sound in a space-efficient, cylinder-shaped enclosure for deep, solid bass. Not too boomy and easy to move to adjust to your room's features, Nero-TubeBass 10 is rated at 400 Watts and includes a 10” driver that serves up room-shaking, distortion-free bass and infuses movies, music and gaming soundtracks with low-frequency sound effects that will suspend your disbelief.
More Than Just A Space-Saving Subwoofer
Even a small surround sound system, computer or gaming setup will benefit from adding a subwoofer. If you don’t have a subwoofer, you’re hearing mid and high frequencies and perhaps some bass. But most speakers are not designed to handle low frequencies. When you add a sub, it takes the low-frequency burden off the other speakers, so not only do you get bass sound, your other speakers, even moderately priced ones, will sound better and play louder.
Advantages of A Down-firing Subwoofer
Our Nero-TubeBass 10 is a down-firing subwoofer by design. A down-firing subwoofer uses gravity to help control unwanted vibrations. This, coupled with the cylindrical design, guarantees extremely low distortion and clean deep bass. In order to keep this thrilling effect, yet not anger the neighbors, the NeroTube Bass 10 is decoupled with feet so it’s not in direct contact with the surface. You feel and hear the bass, but the structure-borne transmission of the sound is dramatically reduced. A down-firing sub is also hidden from view, an added benefit for users with curious, young children.

OSD Audio’s NERO-WSA Wireless Subwoofer Transmitter and Receiver kit lets you add pristine sounding bass to home theaters and media rooms without having to run cable from your amp or receiver to the subwoofer itself. Subwoofers tend to be the most difficult speakers to place, but with the NERO-WSA, you’ll get full-range wireless connectivity with the less-crowded 5.8 GHz frequency and dual diversity antenna switch-off for 360-degrees of reception capability. NERO-WSA will not interfere with Wi-Fi or other wireless protocols, and our wireless subwoofer kit includes an upgraded chip set for reliability and instant transmission with undetectable latency so bass notes are synced with the music or movie soundtracks. Installation is simple. The NERO-WSA transmitter connects to your amp or receiver's subwoofer RCA output, then sends a wireless signal over to the kit’s receiver which is connected to your powered subwoofer's LFE/Mono input. When the transmitter and receiver are within 150 feet of each other, the low frequency sound is transmitted to the subwoofer via the 5.8 GHz broadcast frequency for the most reliable and steady signal.
Why Choose a Wireless Sub?
A subwoofer is a dedicated bass speaker designed to handle the low frequency effects in audio systems. The “.1” in a 2.1, 5.1 or higher surround sound system, the subwoofer plays a critical role in transforming ordinary sound into a spine-tingling experience, especially on action and adventure films. Because subwoofers handle such low frequencies, you’ll often feel the bass as much as you hear it.
Where you place the subwoofer will depend on your room’s acoustics and your own personal taste but placement flexibility is key. Sometimes, the best sound is experienced when the subwoofer is located in a corner, away from the TV and receiver, but this means running cable in the wall, underneath the floor or along the base boards—not always an easy task. OSD Audio’s NERO-WSA bypasses this step so you can place your sub anywhere near a power outlet.
How Far Is the Range of the NERO-WSA Wireless Subwoofer Kit?
Our NERO-WSA has a line-of-site range of 150 ft., although each environment varies and metal objects and obstacles can affect transmission. The 5.8 GHz frequency works best at line of sight, but you can hide the subwoofer transmitter/receiver in another room or behind a sofa; however, transmission range may drop.
Reliable and Backed with a 2-year Warranty
Compatible with most receivers, amplifiers and powered subwoofers with RCA inputs/outputs, the Nero-WSA wireless sub is backed with a limited 2-year warranty and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
